What Ronda Rousey's Husband Travis Browne Really Does For A Living
By LILLIAN GAO
When Travis Browne met Ronda Rousey in 2015, he was already a respected figure in the world of mixed martial arts, boasting an impressive career in the heavyweight division.
Beginning his professional career in 2009, Browne joined the UFC in 2015 and swiftly made a name for himself by winning his first nine consecutive bouts.
A serious title contender at one point, Browne was listed at no. 5 in June 2015's official UFC Heavyweight rankings. However, the MMA fighter decided to retire in 2018.
Beyond his sports career, Browne is deeply passionate about environmentalism. In 2017, he and Rousey embarked on their own sustainable farming venture, Browsey Acres.
Originally a 2.4-acre eco-ranch in California, Browsey Acres
— dedicated to promoting responsible meat consumption — expanded to 4,000 acres of land in Southern Oregon by 2023.
