Macaulay Culkin’s Feelings About The Home Alone Movies Are Clear
By KAITLYN CARRERA
“Home Alone” became an annual holiday must-watch upon its theatrical release in 1990, giving Macaulay Culkin his well-deserved spot in the limelight.
While millions of people watch “Home Alone” during the Christmas season, Culkin isn’t one of them. However, it’s not because the actor doesn’t think it’s a great film.
“I can’t watch it the same way other people do,” Culkin shared during his appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” He simply views the film from an actor’s perspective.
“I’m remembering that day on set, you know, like oh how I was hiding my Pepsi behind the couch,” Culkin revealed to Ellen DeGeneres.
In 2018, Culkin told Jimmy Fallon that he would watch the film, but believed he wouldn’t be able to thoroughly enjoy it because he would just “mutter” his lines while it plays.
