Joey joined Static Media in 2017, originally a features writer for The List. She joined their burgeoning news team as one of its first recruits and now serves as an editor. Since college, Joey has worked steadily as a journalist covering the entertainment industry. She's contributed to the vastly varied likes of Wicked Horror, Birth Movies Death, Vague Visages, Girls on Tops, and Screen Queenz, alongside many others. Joey is also a Rotten Tomatoes-approved film critic.

Joey has an honors degree in journalism, with a minor in German, from DIT Aungier Street.
