Experience
For as long as Emily can remember, she has been enamored with the entertainment industry. Her fascination manifested in acting classes, spring musicals, and a desire to be on the stage. She eventually realized that her passion lay behind the scenes. She spent her college years writing, directing, and producing several short films; while also specializing in media analytics and women's studies. She began her career as a writer in 2023 as a Content Contribution Intern at Vescent, writing and publishing articles regarding media literacy for young women and their parents. After college, she moved from Atlanta to Chicago in hopes of furthering her writing career and has joined The List team to continue writing about entertainment and celebrity news.
Education
Emily graduated from the University of Georgia in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Entertainment and Media Studies and an Interdisciplinary Writing certificate.
