Bernadette began writing in entertainment at Floor 8 and joined Static Media in February 2020. She's always been interested in entertainment news and reality TV, so it was an easy transition to begin writing about it. She became a feature writer for Nicki Swift, covering these topics with vigor. Since then, her interest in covering the royals and celebrity news has only deepened. In addition to Nicki, her work appears on The List, Glam, and Women.com. Bernadette organized and participated in the panel "Writing the Abuser" for The Association of Writers & Writing Programs 2021 Conference. In 2022, she won the 2022 Evocations Nonfiction Contest for her essay "Holy Vaxx."
Education
Bernadette received a bachelor's degree in English literature from St. Mary's University in Calgary, Alberta. She graduated from the University of Victoria in 2014 with a master's in English literature. In May 2019, she graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a PhD in English and creative writing.
