  • Anna is the evening and weekend lead editor of the Nicki Swift and The List news teams.
  • She loves to unleash her inner fashion critic during Hollywood's biggest events (even if she's wearing pajamas while doing so).
  • Anna began building her classic TV knowledge base as a kid while watching "The Golden Girls" and "Matlock" with her grandparents on Saturday nights — and she could now easily out-trivia your granny any day of the week!

Experience

Anna became a freelance news editor for Nicki Swift in August 2020. In May 2023, she was promoted to full-time lead news editor (nights/weekends) for both Nicki Swift and The List. While Anna has had the pleasure of editing for multiple Static Media brands — including Mashed, Glam, Tasting Table, and House Digest — she derives her greatest joy from helping her team of talented freelance editors and writers hone their skills and find their voices. She began her career in entertainment journalism while still in high school, interviewing local bands and reviewing theatre productions. After a 5-year stint at a B2B publication, she returned to the entertainment and lifestyle verticals when she joined Nicki.

Education

Anna received a bachelor's degree in journalism with a double minor in theatre and peace & justice studies from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. While Anna wrote theatre and television reviews for The Mirror, Fairfield's student newspaper, she also served as co-president of the student-run literary magazine and writing club, The Cream Filling.
