What Happened To Kenya Moore's Ex, Matt Jordan?

Kenya Moore brought a lot of drama — and, of course, some glamour — to "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," when she joined the cast in Season 5. In addition to showcasing her lavish southern lifestyle, the former Miss USA winner gave fans an unfiltered look into her love life. When Moore first joined the cast in 2012, she was single and ready to mingle. One of the reality star's most polarizing relationships on the show was with her ex-boyfriend, Matt Jordan.

Their relationship, which was widely covered in the ninth season of the popular Bravo show, was riddled with problems. During a 2016 episode, Moore alleged Jordan became violent after an argument, which resulted in him smashing in her glass garage door. Moore was eventually granted a temporary restraining order against Jordan, after he allegedly tried to contact her "30 times a day" for months, according to Us Weekly.

The couple's relationship was undoubtedly toxic, but some fans may have been wondering what happened to Jordan after his split from the former pageant queen.

Matt Jordan was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend

Kenya Moore and Matt Jordan ended their relationship for good in 2016. However, the reality star attempted to forge a friendship with her ex following the dissolution of their union. In one of his final appearances on the show, Jordan exclaimed that Moore would be devastated without him. "I'll be in jail and you'll be single and miserable. So we're even," Jordan told Moore (via People). Eerily, Jordan may have foreshadowed his own fate.

According to Radar Online, a warrant was issued for the personal trainer's arrest in June 2019 after he failed to appear for a hearing related to a trespassing charge in April of that year. And while Jordan was able to evade Maricopa County authorities, he later found himself in another criminal incident. On July 30, 2019, Jordan was arrested in Arizona after he allegedly assaulted his then-girlfriend, Valerie Bell. Per The U.S. Sun Jordan punched Bell with a "closed fist." He then turned his attention to an unidentified witness and snatched a cigarette out of her mouth, according to TMZ. Jordan fled the scene before police arrived, but was later arrested at Bell's home. He was charged with one count of assault on top of theft and threatening/intimidating with damage to property — in addition to the trespassing charge. After the arrest, he reportedly checked into rehab

Unfortunately for Jordan, his troubles didn't end there, as two warrants were later issued for his arrest by December 2019 after failing to appear at hearings for either incident.

Kenya Moore tried to move on but was unsuccessful

Following her time with Matt Jordan, Kenya Moore married restaurateur, Marc Daly. "It's a relief. It's a blessing. I feel overjoyed because finally, I'm in a great place," Moore said during an appearance on Bravo's "The Daily Dish." "I'm in a loving relationship and a forever relationship, and I've waited my entire life for this." The couple went on to welcome their only child together, Brooklyn Doris, in 2018. Moore opened up about her pregnancy – which caused her to gain more than 17 pounds in one week.

Unfortunately for "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, her relationship with Daly was short-lived. Moore filed for divorce from her husband in May 2021, explaining in court documents that the pair were living in a "bonafide state of separation since that date," per Radar Online. Their divorce has been messy, to say the least, as Daly had accused his ex of concealing her financial records — a claim that Moore later admitted to. As of this writing, their divorce has yet to be finalized.
