Chris Pratt, Anna Faris File For Divorce

The Guardians of the Galaxy star and the Mom actress are making their split official.

TMZ reports that Chris Pratt and Anna Faris filed for divorce simultaneously on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017. Their court docs reportedly look exactly the same, with both listing irreconcilable differences as reason for their separation. Pratt and Faris about seeking joint custody of their 5-year-old son, Jack.

Their separation date is listed as July 13, nearly a month before the two announced their breakup to the public. TMZ notes that the former couple have a prenup and that they've nearly finished splitting up their properties.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Pratt and Faris, who married in 2009, revealed that they were ending their eight-year marriage in August. "Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating," Pratt shared on Facebook at the time. "We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward."

The statement continued, "We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."

Since their split, Faris has been spotted with another man, cinematographer Michael Barrett. Faris and Barrett reportedly met while working on the 2018 film Overboard.
