Kim Kardashian Explains Why Surrogate Was Absent From Baby Shower
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star just opened up about the surrogate carrying her third child.
On Nov. 16, 2017, Kim Kardashian appeared on The Real and explained why her surrogate was M.I.A. from her baby shower. Admitting that she did not invite the woman to the party, the 37-year-old revealed that she'd wanted to but that "it was a weird decision to have to make."
"I hadn't really gone that far in explaining it to my kids yet," she told the talk show's co-hosts. "I just wanted to celebrate the baby."
Kardashian continued, "I think I have to explain it to my kids first, and figure out how I'm gonna explain it to them."
While the surrogate did not attend the shower, Kardashian did, however, introduce her to close relatives. "I love her, and I have the best relationship with my surrogate," she shared. "She's so nice. She's the perfect person to do this for my family."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kardashian threw a sweet tea party-themed baby shower on Saturday, Nov. 11, turning a venue into a "cherry blossom forest." The next day, Kardashian's younger sister Kylie Jenner reportedly celebrated her own pregnancy with an intimate pajama-themed event.
Visiting The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Nov. 15, Kardashian revealed that she and husband Kanye West, who are already parents to daughter North and son Saint, are expecting a baby girl.
While we wait to learn more about Kardashian's growing family, read up on why we're worried about sister Kylie's future kid.
