Kate Upton Marries Houston Astros' Justin Verlander

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are having a pretty fantastic week.

The model and the Houston Astros pitcher said "I do" at a lavish, intimate ceremony in Italy on Nov. 4, 2017 (via People).The wedding comes just days after Verlander's team won the 2017 World Series.  

According to E! News, the ceremony was held at an old medieval church overlooking the Montalcino valley. Upton reportedly wore a classic white dress with lace sleeves for her big day, while Verlander opted for a traditional dark colored tux.

The couple, who have been together since 2014, first announced their engagement to E! News at the 2016 Met Gala.

"I'm really excited, he asked me right before season started so we've been keeping it on the down low for quite a while," she revealed. "So I'm excited to finally be able to share it with the world!"

On Oct. 23, 2017, the 25-year-old model took to Instagram to share a few snapshots from her bachelorette party in New York City. "No better place to relax, rejuvenate and celebrate @ThePlazaHotel," she wrote along with a photo of herself wearing a "bride" hat surrounded by friends wearing "squad" hats.
