The Kardashians Season 2 Release Date, Cast, And More Information
They're baaack!
After making Hulu history as the biggest Hulu series premiere with the inaugural season of "The Kardashians" the famous fam is gearing up to release a whole new season of the documentary-style reality series. As reported by Variety, the staggering 9-figure deal with Hulu included a total of forty episodes to be released in 10-episode seasons. "We stepped up to a great deal that they very much deserve," Walt Disney Television's chairman of entertainment Dana Walden said about the record-breaking deal. "Who would you want more for your unscripted slate than the Kardashians? They perfectly symbolize our strategy, which is taking big shots, but the right shots, and betting on incredible talent and best-in-class opportunities in each genre."
But when will the new season drop? And who will be featured? Here's everything we know and more about the upcoming season of "The Kardashians."
When will The Kardashians Season 2 be released?
Block off your calendars, Kardashian fans and stans! Season 2 of "The Kardashians" is set to air on September 22!
On July 11, Hulu dropped a sneak peek of the all-new season on their Instagram account featuring glimpses of Kylie Jenner discussing her most recent pregnancy, Kourtney Kardashian diving head first into wedding planning mode, Kim Kardashian mentioning her "new boyfriend" (ahem, comedian Pete Davidson), Khloe Kardashian discussing Blac Chyna's $100 million lawsuit against the family, and momager Kris Jenner hinting at a mysterious health scare. As one can imagine, with a promo like that viewers were immediately left on the edge of their seats clamoring for more! "September needs to hurry up," one user wrote in the comments section. Meanwhile, another penned, "I'm LIVING for this quick turn around of them taping and releasing within a few months," along with three clapping emojis and a heart eyes emoji to boot.
Who will be featured on The Kardashians Season 2?
Will he or won't he?!
Ahead of "The Kardashians" Season 2 trailer, many viewers only had one question concerning the cast of characters: will Kim Kardashian's new boyfriend Pete Davidson make an appearance? "I have not filmed with him," Kim revealed to Variety in March. "And I'm not opposed to it. It's just not what he does," she continued. "But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn't tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn't be for this season." Fortunately, however, we can say with certainty that Davidson did make at least an appearance in Season 2! During the new season's 30-second sneak peek viewers were delighted to watch Kim ask Davidson to "shower with her really quick." Almost immediately, Davidson can be seen literally dropping everything (including his phone) as he chases off after Kim. All that to say — it appears Season 2 of "The Kardashians" is off to a rather steamy start, already!
Khloe Kardashian still believes in love
The Season 1 finale of "The Kardashians" wrapped on a somber note as the family rallied around Khloe Kardashian after it was revealed that Tristan Thompson fathered a third child after a one-night stand. 'When you're hurt so many times — your reactions, your responses to the same thing happening over and over again — there is a numbing sensation to it," Khloe later confessed on camera, per the Daily Mail. Perhaps, however, Thompson's infidelity wasn't the only reason she felt numb. In July, it was confirmed that Khloe and Tristan are also expecting a baby. "We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November," a spokesperson for Khloe told E! News. "Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."
Still, it appears Khloe remains hopeful. During the Season 2 teaser, an optimistic Khloe declares in a confessional, "I do believe in love. When you love, you know you're alive." Here's to hoping Khloe finds her own happy ending. Maybe even on Season 2? Fingers crossed!
