Zachary Quinto Addresses Marriage Rumors

Zachary Quinto is not getting married, at least not yet.

The Star Trek actor and his longtime boyfriend, model Miles McMillan, were recently hit with a bout of marriage rumors after he shared a sweet snapshot of the two on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017. In the cute photo, Quinto has his arm around his beau and is wearing what fans suspected to be a wedding ring. According to Us Weekly, McMillan had also teased their supposed engagement on his Instagram Story that same night.

But Quinto was quick to set the record straight in an Entertainment Tonight exclusive. "It's the only finger it fits on, if I'm being honest," he said of the silver band, which he wore on his left hand's ring finger. "[It's] not a wedding ring." 

Well, that settles that.

The pair had caught up with ET Thursday night at the Tie the Knot event, hosted by Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita, at the NeueHouse Hollywood. The LGBTQ rights organization was celebrating its five-year anniversary.

"I'm just so proud of my friends," Quinto said. "I've known Jesse for so long and I'm happy for all of his success. But more than that, I'm impressed and inspired by how he's channeled it into making a difference for people and, yeah, I'm really happy that I was in town to come and celebrate them."

Quinto and McMillan have been dating since 2013. Two years later, they moved into an apartment together in New York City. And while wedding bells may not be chiming in their near future, the two are known to share their love for one another with the world. 

"I can't stop thinking about how much you've evolved and expanded these past four years," Quinto wrote in a heartfelt note on Instagram in July, celebrating his boyfriend's birthday. "How easily you've stepped into yourself with powerful intuition and confidence....Saturn returns to carry you into your full potential with power and limitless possibility. I cannot wait to watch you embrace it all. I love you so much."
