Tyra Banks, Erik Asla Split After Five Years

Page Six reported exclusively late Monday, October 2, 2017 that Tyra Banks and her boyfriend of five years, Erik Asla, have split.

Sources say the break up was "drama-free," adding that the former couple will continue to co-parent their son, York Banks Asla, born in January 2006 via a surrogate.

If one needed more proof that the split was indeed drama-free: a source told Page Six that Banks, 43, and Asla will also work with each other on the upcoming season of America's Next Top Model, for which he is "slated to shoot the photos for the opening credits."

According to Page Six, the couple met when Asla appeared on the Norwegian version of Top Model. 

The paper also reported in July last year that they were having problems following the birth of their son.
