Kevin Hart Throws Lavish Baby Shower For Wife Eniko Parrish

The comedian spared no expense for the celebration of his child's upcoming birth.

TMZ reports that Kevin Hart spent $117,855 on a Lion King-themed baby shower for his wife, Eniko Parrish. The big party took place at Calamigos Beach Club in Malibu, Calif. on Oct. 1, 2017.

As E! News noted, Hart and Parrish shared photos from the baby shower on their respective Snapchat accounts. In a video, Hart joked, "We couldn't afford a lion, so we got the dog and just put the [mane] around the dog."

The 38-year-old continued, "It's still ballin'; it's just on a budget!"

Party attendees, which reportedly included rapper Ludacris, could use a filter on all of their Snapchat posts to add the text "Oh, Boy! Baby Kenzo" to their posts as well as a small photo of Hart and Parrish in the bottom right corner.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Hart and Parrish, who married in August 2016, announced that they were expecting their first child together back in May. Hart is also a father to two other children from a previous relationship.

The baby shower comes not long after Hart revealed that he was being extorted after making an "error in judgement." In a video on Instagram, Hart revealed that he'd "put [himself] in an environment where only bad things can happen and they did," implying that he may have cheated on his wife. "I am not going to allow a person to make financial gains over my mistakes," he noted.

According to TMZ, authorities have issued search warrants for the arrests of multiple people, who they believe tried using an alleged tape of Hart having sex with another woman to snag a seven-figure sum from the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star.
