Little Mix Singer Perrie Edwards Hospitalized
The "Shout Out to My Ex" singer just had a health scare.
The Daily Mail reports that Little Mix member Perrie Edwards was taken to the hospital over the weekend of Sept. 23, 2017, forcing her to pull out of her scheduled performance with bandmates Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock at the Daytime Village 2017 Capital One event in Las Vegas.
"Perrie was taken ill overnight and had to go to hospital with gastric problem," a rep for Little Mix told the paper. "She saw a doctor and was sadly unable to perform."
Fortunately, Edwards seems to be doing much better. On Sept. 25, the 24-year-old took to Instagram to update fans on her condition. "Hello beautiful babas... I'm out of hospital... in my own bed, and on the mend. Thanks to mother goose, nurse sam, and doctor hatchi I should be fine in no time," Edwards said via a text image post. "Sorry to have to let you all down, I obv would never want to miss anything but sometimes you have to listen to those who know best and I wasn't fit to perform."
She continued, "Thank you to the lovely doctors and nurses at sunrise hospital in Vegas for looking after me! My babas I love you all to the moon and back."
Glad to know Edwards is feeling better.
