Sterling K. Brown Celebrates 11th Wedding Anniversary With Sweet Note To Wife
This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown and his wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe, celebrated 11 years of marriage this week.
The actor took to Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017 to commemorate the special occasion, penning a heartfelt note to his actress wife. "Don't know what I'd do without you, Bird," he wrote in the photo's caption. "Love ya lots! @ryanmichelleb #blacklove #11yearslater."
Aw, how sweet is that?
As Entertainment Tonight reported, Brown and Bathe met at Stanford University while performing in a play together. The two tied the knot in 2007 and have two sons, Andrew, 5, and Amare, 1.
But as Brown shared with the celeb news source in January 2017, their seemingly perfect relationship has had its fair share of bumps in the road—which would make for a great film. "We need to actually put pen to paper and get it produced because people wouldn't believe it," he explained. "The multitude of ups and downs that we went through before we finally got together and figured it out. [We] have been together solid since April 2004, [but] all the stuff that happened before that, it's a good movie."
The actor also took to Twitter on Wednesday to tease the upcoming season of This Is Us with a sneak peak clip, which features an emotional scene between his character, Randall, and his mother, played by Mandy Moore. "Don't forget to call your mom and tell her you love her. #ThisIsUs," he wrote. (And seriously, be prepared to cry.)

He previously won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series in 2016 for his portrayal of lawyer Christopher Darden in The People v. O.J. Simpson.
While we wait for the highly anticipated second season to premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m., catch up on the untold truth of This Is Us.
