The Real Housewives Of Miami Season 5 - Here's What We Can Tell Fans So Far
As actor and rapper Will Smith once waxed poetic, "Welcome to Miami. Bienvenidos a Miami."
Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Miami" first burst onto the scene in 2011 and quickly left its mark on the franchise. Alas, what goes up must come down and after just three seasons the show was canceled. "The reason that we let it go was, I remember the ratings went down toward the end of the season," Housewife wrangler Andy Cohen revealed in a candid Instagram Story, per Showbiz CheatSheet. "Which never happens. Like it went down for the reunion, and if it's going down toward the end that's just never a good sign. But anyway, I hear your love all the time and really appreciate the show and the women," he continued.
Fortunately, however, the show did eventually make a comeback in December 2021 on NBC Universal's streaming service, Peacock, per Variety. "I have to say, I just am so tickled, I'm so excited that the show is back," Andy said on an episode of Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live." He went on to add, "For years, people have been saying, 'When is it coming back? When is it coming back?' And, I mean, it's just exciting that it's back." But now on the heels of Season 4, many are left clamoring to know when they will get their next "RHOM" fix!
When will 'The Real Housewives of Miami' Season 5 premiere?
Buckle up Housewives stans... there's still no word yet whether or not another season of "The Real Housewives of Miami" is even in the works. Womp, womp, womppp.
Many of the show's fans, however, have taken Twitter to let their voices be heard loud and clear regarding another season of their favorite franchise. "Real Housewives of Miami needs to be renewed for Season 5 ASAP. @Andy make this happen, please. Also, Alexia, is Todd so upset because what Peter said is true? Too close to home.... #Facts #Truth #GrowUp Prove him wrong," one very invested fan of the show tweeted. Meanwhile, another fan wrote, "I need them to start filming season 5 ASAP. #RHOM." Another viewer even threatened to cancel her Peacock subscription should they can the show a second time. "'This reunion had me going through all the emotions. If this group isn't back for a season 5, I'll be canceling my subscription #RHOM" they penned. Peacock, you've been warned!
Who will be featured on 'The Real Housewives of Miami' Season 5?
While the general consensus on Twitter is that Peacock should definitely bring back "The Real Housewives of Miami" for a fifth season, it appears the jury is still out when it comes to which Housewives should be featured.
As you may recall, Season 4 was comprised of OG's Larsa Pippen, Alexia Echevarria, and Adriana De Moura, as well as fan-favorite Lisa Hochstein, and newcomers Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova, and Nicole Martin, per Bravo TV. But that's not all. Marysol Patton and Kiki Barth also appeared on the show as "friends of."
As for Season 5, however, it appears fans and viewers of the show have their own ideas on who should be featured. "What I would do for #RHOM Season 5: Housewives: Larsa, Marysol, Alexia, Julia, Nicole, Guerdy, Zana White (Larsa's friend). Friends: Adriana & Lisa," one outspoken user tweeted. Meanwhile, another fan minced no words regarding Marysol's "friend of" status. "Marysol HAS to be upgraded to full time for season 5. @peacockTV listen to me hun #RHOM," they tweeted.
A Season 5 of 'The Real Housewives of Miami' would have no shortage of drama
While we still don't know when or if Season 5 of "The Real Housewives of Miami" is in the Peacock pipeline, we do know that the show would have no shortage of drama.
As you may recall, the final episode of Season 4 wrapped with all of the ladies rallying around Alexia Echevarria at her mother's funeral. (We're not crying, you're crying.) Unfortunately, the hits kept coming for Alexia when her eldest son, Peter Rosello was arrested in January on suspicion of domestic violence — a case that was later dismissed, per Page Six. At the time of the incident, Marysol Patton revealed that the incident was "hard" on Alexia. According to Marysol, however, Alexia "had some very interesting information on exactly what really happened." Now that the case has been dismissed, perhaps we can hear all about it during Season 5! From our lips to Peacock's ears!
