Casey Affleck, Summer Phoenix Reportedly Reach Settlement In Divorce

That was fast.

TMZ reports that Casey Affleck's divorce from wife Summer Phoenix has been settled. After Phoenix petitioned for divorce on Monday, July 31, 2017, the Manchester by the Sea actor filed his own court documents that same day. His filing is reportedly very similar to Phoenix, listing the same date of separation—November 2015—and citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of their split. However, Affleck's has one key difference—he doesn't want to pay Phoenix the spousal support she wanted.

But, even though you'd think the two would wind up battling it out over financial support, the two have already reached a settlement. And it looks like Affleck, 41, will be stuck paying spousal support to his ex after all.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Phoenix, who shares two kids with Affleck, filed for divorce, asking for joint physical and legal custody.
