Olivia Wilde Sent Jennifer Lawrence Soup After She Vomited At Her Broadway Show
Olivia Wilde is the sweetest.
The 33-year-old actress currently stars opposite Tom Sturridge in the play 1984 on Broadway. And as Entertainment Tonight reported, she generously reached out to Jennifer Lawrence after learning that the 26-year-old had been forced to leave mid-way through a performance last week due to a nasty stomach bug.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, a caller asked Wilde if Lawrence had apologized to her. "Listen, she didn't need to apologize," the actress asserted. "I felt so bad and I sent her some Matzah ball soup and some bagels and she feels much better. She had the stomach flu. The poor thing walked in sick."
Host Andy Cohen then revealed that Lawrence also had to cancel her appearance on his show that same night due to falling ill. "Oh no! Her whole night was ruined!" Wilde said. "But she's feeling better. Thank the lord, because she's the best."
Following the infamous theatre fiasco, Wilde took to Twitter to lightheartedly address it. "As long as I have a play, Jennifer Lawrence has a place to puke," she wrote. Her post was completed with a series of supportive, yet humorous hashtags: "#honored #getwellsoon #iloveyou #1984onBarfway #spewbagsnotincluded."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, the Oscar-winning actress was forced to leave the intense Broadway production during its Monday, July 17 performance after throwing up.
As a source told Page Six afterward, "Midway through the show, Jennifer Lawrence bolted from her seat. Several people saw her getting sick in the lobby. The ushers were very helpful and courteous in helping her out."
How awful. We're just glad to hear Lawrence is feeling better!
