What We Know About Megan Fox's Sexuality
Megan Fox has never been afraid to be herself. Fox's early roles in films like "Transformers" and "Jennifer's Body" solidified her status as a Hollywood sex symbol. When asked on the 2021 Met Gala red carpet if that title has a negative impact, Fox admitted she embraces that side of herself. "I'm not afraid to be sexy," Fox told Keke Palmer at the event. "A woman who's intelligent and also knows how to weaponize her beauty — there's nothing more dangerous than that. There's nothing more powerful than that."
Fox has certainly portrayed a dangerous and powerful romance with her fiancé, musician Machine Gun Kelly. In January 2022, the actor announced she accepted Kelly's proposal with an emotional Instagram post after he popped the question in Puerto Rico. "A year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him," Fox wrote. "And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes."
Before MGK, Fox's relationship history includes an on-off relationship with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green. The couple welcomed three children together over their 10-year marriage before splitting for good in 2020. While Fox's past lies with Green and her future is promised to Kelly, Fox has been candid about her attraction to women.
Megan Fox celebrates her bisexuality
Megan Fox got vocal about her bisexual identity over Pride Month 2021. "Putting the B in #LGBTQIA for over two decades," Fox wrote under an Instagram carousel of herself rocking a rainbow manicure.
Fox first confirmed her sexuality in an interview with Esquire magazine in 2009. "I think people are born bisexual and they make subconscious choices based on the pressures of society ... I have no question in my mind about being bisexual," she said (via Us Weekly). One year prior, Fox told GQ that she's "not a lesbian." She explained, "I just think that all humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes. I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl."
Fox's own sexual identity led her to defend an often criticized on-screen kiss in her film "Jennifer's Body" with her co-star Amanda Seyfried. "That was a real thing that goes on with teenage girls that are discovering their sexuality, and sometimes that's discovering that they love other girls," she said of the scene to InStyle. "It's not like that [kissing] scene was even particularly sexual for men. It was more so for any woman who's ever thought, 'I really love my best friend, and I don't necessarily know what that means, but I'm going to figure it out.'"
Megan Fox has celebrity crushes
Along with Megan Fox dating A-listers, she revealed she's had her eyes on a handful of others in the industry. Fox told GQ in 2008 she was "obsessed" with adult film star Jenna Jameson and admitted she found actor Olivia Wilde "so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands."
The "Transformers" star also voiced her attraction to Angelina Jolie years ago and was asked in 2021 if fiancé Machine Gun Kelly would mind her crush. "I can't imagine he would have a problem with it. I think he would survive," she said in an interview on Fox 5 New York. "I do think I said that a decade ago but I stand by it, I stick with it."
Fox adorably took her shot with Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima when the model posted a side-by-side photo of the two, comparing their similar looks. "If you ever need a body double in one of your movies, hit me up," Lima wrote to Fox on Instagram. "My only request is.... We share the same makeup artist [Patrick Ta]," she added. Fox quipped back with a flirty response (via People), writing, "But what if I need a girlfriend... can I hit you up for that as well?" Fox further noted, "Patrick can still be involved somehow. He can do our makeup when I take you to Nobu."
