Are Geoffrey And Varya From 90 Day Fiance Still Together?
The following article includes allegations of domestic abuse.
Some couples choose to live a more private life following their time on "90 Day Fiance" –- Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina being one of them. The two starred in Season 4 of TLC's "90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days," though the pair had a rocky road to their happily ever after. Varya initially rejected Geoffrey's proposal, according to Entertainment Tonight. While the two worked through their differences and were engaged by the end of the season, they were not invited to the tell-all reunion, as Geoffrey was awaiting trial following a domestic violence incident with his ex-fiancee.
Geoffrey, at the time, maintained his innocence, calling the case "he said, she said crap," per InTouch Weekly. He also said his removal from the reunion "because somebody said something" was "the most absurd thing I've ever heard in my life." From there, as Geoffrey awaited trial, both he and Varya both refrained from posting about each other, and any glimpses of their relationship fans could get on social media went away. It begged the question to many "90 Day" fans: Were Geoffrey and Varya just refraining from posting one another, or did they call off their engagement?
Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina have left hints of their relationship
After Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina were told they would not be in the "90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days" tell-all reunion despite Geoffrey maintaining his innocence, the two became incredibly private. But despite what social media may have you thinking, Varya has stood by Geoffrey's side.
In 2021, amid Geoffrey's legal matters, Varya confirmed she was staying in the U.S. through a travel visa – sparking rumors she was with Paschel. While Varya continued saying she was vacationing in Pensacola, Florida, it doesn't seem she was there for long as she and Geoffrey were reportedly spotted together in Vail, Colorado, and in Tennessee – where Geoffrey lives, reports InTouch Weekly.
It seems the whole time Varya has been in the U.S., Geoffrey has been awaiting trial. Yet in October, Geoffrey was convicted of kidnapping and assaulting his ex-fiancee. According to the district attorney, per People, "Paschel grabbed the victim by the neck and slammed her head against the wall several times. She was also thrown to the ground and dragged." Paschel faces a sentence between 12 to 20 years in prison without the possibility of parole. While he was initially supposed to be sentenced on December 3, Starcasm reports the sentencing has been pushed back to February 3. As Varya was just starting to leave hints of their relationship on social media, with the news of Geoffrey's conviction, "90 Day" fans are wondering if Varya is still standing beside Geoffrey.

Varya Malina is staying with Geoffrey Paschel
Varya Malina has chosen to stay with her fiance Geoffrey Paschel despite his guilty verdict. Following his conviction, Varya posted an Instagram video, writing, "... we all are giving Geoffrey an opportunity to clear his name and we are giving the children who have already been traumatized by social media cruelty, a chance to have their dad by their side ..." Geoffrey's family, and Varya, are raising money to help Geoffrey clear his name.
And that's not all. Varya dropped another bombshell to her followers when she announced she had officially moved to the U.S. In an Instagram reel, Varya addressed a question she claims she is often asked: Does she regret moving to the United States? Her answer: "Yeah, f*** no." She explained in the caption that while moving is hard, it has been worth it. "Starting life over is always hard, sometimes depressing, but never boring," she said. "You learn so much every day, your brain doesn't have time to rest."
Yet, one part of the video seemed to hint to another decision she doesn't regret: her relationship with Geoffrey. Though he only pops up for a second in a video, as Varya posted this following Geoffrey's trial, it seems she doesn't regret her life, moving, or continuing to stand by their relationship.
