We kind of were uprooted — I was trying to start my company, he was running his business, we had the three kids. Seth Marks is actually the reason Chicago native Meredith Marks resides in Park City, Utah — the town that led to her stardom. Seth led the family's relocation after he became an executive for SLC-based online retailer Overstock.com, according to the Chicago Tribune. Following his time at Overstock, Seth traveled to work back in Chicago, Illinois, as well as Cantonsville, Ohio. Most recently, the University of Arizona alum became the Chief Merchandising Officer for Channel Control Merchants based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, according to his LinkedIn profile.

According to Seth's Instagram bio, he's not only an entrepreneur, but also a life coach. The dad, who lives by the motto "one breath at a time," is constantly encouraging his 10.2K Instagram followers with uplifting quotes and fitness content. The Marks' hectic work schedules led to some marital strife in 2020 when their three children were officially out of the house. "Becoming empty nesters kinda put us in a place where we were really forced to evaluate what path we were going to go down," Meredith said of her marriage to Entertainment Weekly.

The Marks are now on the other side of their rough patch, as Meredith Marks revealed that she and Seth Marks had reconciled and ended their separation at the end of 2020, according to Page Six. "I think I'm probably the only one in the world who can say 'Housewives,' coupled with COVID, saved my marriage," Meredith told the outlet, adding that couples therapy helped them reconnect.

Meredith and Seth recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in August. "Every journey has some bumps in the road – but you have and always will be my best friend, my everything," Meredith wrote to her husband on Instagram celebrating the milestone. The RHOSLC star told E! News that Seth actually worked on their anniversary, but the couple counted their month-long stay in France over the summer as their romantic celebration.

It seems Seth truly appreciates overcoming struggles with his wife to form a stronger bond.
