Zoe Kravitz On Mad Max Feud Between Charlize Theron And Tom Hardy
Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy famously fought while filming the movie Mad Max: Fury Road, so much so that Theron herself once admitted they "drove each other crazy."
Well, now Mad Max co-star Zoe Kravitz has chimed in on the feud, admitting on the Thursday, June 15, 2017 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, "They didn't get along. We were also in the desert for so long. I think everyone was tired and confused and homesick and we saw nothing but sand for six months. It's just, you go crazy, you do."
The Big Little Lies actress added, "I actually don't know if there was one issue. I just think they weren't vibing. It's like summer camp. At some point, everyone has like some kind of issue with somebody 'cause it's just the way people are."
Speaking to Esquire magazine in May 2015, Theron backed up Kravitz's theory that filming in the desert drove them nuts. "It was the isolation, and the fact that we were stuck in a rig for the entire shoot," Theron said of her feud with Hardy. "We shot a war movie on a moving truck — there's very little green screen. It was like a family road trip that just never went anywhere. We never got anywhere. We just drove. We drove into nothingness, and that was maddening sometimes."
In 2014, Hardy called rumors of their feud "disappointing." "I think she is f****** awesome. I think she's incredible. I think she's one of the most talented actresses of our generation," he said.
