Terri Irwin Remembers Late Husband Steve On 25th Wedding Anniversary
The crocodile hunter may be gone, but he'll never be forgotten.
Steve Irwin's widow, Terri Irwin, took to Twitter on June 8, 2017, to share a very special tribute to her late husband. Posting a black and white photo of the two of them kissing—iguana sitting atop their heads—Terri wrote, "Today would have been our 25th wedding anniversary. I miss you so very much, and I am grateful every day for the time we had together."

Steve passed away on September 4, 2006. He was killed while filming a documentary off the coast of Australia after a stingray stung him, puncturing his heart. He was 44 years old.
Steve's survived by his wife and their two children, 18-year-old Bindi and 13-year-old Robert.
In an interview with Access Hollywood in May 2017, Terri revealed that she hasn't dated anyone since her husband's passing. "I feel a connection still with Steve. You know when you take those vows and say we'll be together as long as we both shall live? I really don't think I would have married if I hadn't met Steve," the 52-year-old said. "He's very special to me, and continues to be. And I've got beautiful kids and a lot of wonderful conservation work. So I'm lonely for Steve, but I'm not a lonely person."
