Ariana Grande's Manchester Benefit Concert Sells Out In Minutes
People are ready to show Manchester some love.
According to BBC, Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert sold out within just 20 minutes of tickets going on sale. Although, Entertainment Tonight reports that a Twitter account dedicated to the event noted that tickets had sold out much sooner—only six minutes after general sales were opened.
Fans that had seen Grande's May 22 concert were eligible to reserve complimentary tickets in advance and had by 14:00 BST on June 1, 2017 to register.
The concert line-up has become quite extensive, with a number of musical acts having signed up for the event over the past few days.
Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Niall Horan, The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Usher, and Pharrell Williams are some of the biggest names attached to the event. Other acts include Take That, Robbie Williams, and Little Mix. Grande herself will also perform.
The One Love Manchester concert will take place on Sunday, June 4, 2017. All proceeds from the event will go the Red Cross's Manchester Emergency Fund, helping victims of the May 22 concert attack that killed 22 and injured 59.
