90 Day Diaries Season 3 - Here's What We Can Tell Fans So Far

If there's one thing that's for certain, it's that the gang behind "90 Day Fiancé" love a spin-off. The original show has spawned a serious amount of spin-offs since the infamous love connection reality show first debuted on TLC back in 2014, with "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?," "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days," "90 Day Fiancé: What Now?," "90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk," and "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way" all engrossing fans in the lives of those who will stop at nothing to find love.

While those spin-offs all got their own spotlight on TLC, the show also inspired several shows on the streaming service discovery+, "90 Day: Bares All," "90 Day Journey," "The Other Way Strikes Back," and "90 Day Diaries." All four "90 Day" spin-offs hit the streamer in January 2021, giving fans an even more intimate look behind the scenes of the cast of the main show and its many (many, many) descendants.

But it's the latter we're here to learn more about right now, as "90 Day Diaries" proved to be a big hit with fans. The show gave us a peek inside the cast's most innermost thoughts in a very candid way as they filmed themselves without the usual big crew and professional equipment while much of the world locked down to weather the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show has already aired two seasons on discovery+, but can we now expect a third?

When will 90 Day Diaries Season 3 be released?

"90 Day Diaries" Season 1 officially premiered on discovery+ on January 4, 2021, with the first two episodes hitting the streamer (oh, they do spoil us!) on the same day. The remainder of the six-episode season were staggered, with one new episode available each week all the way up to February 1, 2021. As for Season 2, that popped up on June 13, 2021 and each of the six-episode followed in the same format as Season 1, being available weekly up until July 18, 2021.

Assuming discovery+ is planning on leaving another four months between the final episode of one season to the first episode of the next, fans could potentially expect any new episodes to begin streaming sometime in November 2021.

However, it's worth noting that discovery+ hasn't yet officially confirmed if "90 Day Diary" Season 3 is even officially going ahead or if the gap between seasons will be the same, leaving the timescale pretty open to interpretation until we're treated with a few more release date details.

90 Day Diaries Season 3 cast

With no official confirmation of if there will be a "90 Day Diaries" Season 3 just yet, it's hard to guess who will be popping up in any new episodes, but what we can speculate about is who's likely to share their story. The Season 2 cast was made up of familiar faces from pretty much every corner of the franchise, including the original show, "90 Days: The Single Life," "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days," "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way," and "90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk" (via Reality TV World).

There's been plenty of drama from the cast that has the potential to be featured too, including Tania Maduro And Syngin Colchester's breakup, Rebecca Parrott's terrifying home invasion, and Danielle Jbali (née Mullins) unwavering quest for love.

With so many spin-offs under the "90 Day Fiancé" umbrella and so many fascinating couples appearing on them all, it's near impossible to guess who could be on the show next. With that said though, plenty of the cast of "90 Day Fiancé" Season 8 appeared on the series, meaning we could see some of the cast from a potential Season 9 airing out their dirty laundry. There were also plenty of the cast of the first season of "90 Days: The Single Life" baring all (not literally, of course), meaning there's the potential for more familiar faces from that spin-off to grab a camera and return to the franchise.

90 Day Diaries: What else you need to know

While we're getting all excited for "90 Day Diaries" Season 3, it's important to remember there's the chance a third season may not actually go ahead. While discovery+ has so far stayed mum on the potential of new episodes, the first two seasons focused heavily on how the reality stars made their way through the COVID-19 pandemic (as newlyweds, newly singletons, new parents, and pretty much everything in between) while much of the world shut down.

With much of the restrictions placed on the cast (many of which meant it was unsafe for crew to continue filming) at the time now lifting across many states and other countries, it's definitely possible that discovery+ and TLC will focus more on the original series' over the streamer's selection of spin-offs that got us through lockdown.

However, if the show does come back for more, discovery+ actually isn't the only way to get a peek inside the lives of the show's many alumni. "90 Day Diaries" is also available to stream on Apple TV, alongside many of the flagship show's other incarnations.
