Goldie Hawn Responds To Kate Hudson, Nick Jonas Romance Rumors

Goldie Hawn went on Watch What Happens Live (via Billboard) with Amy Schumer on May 11, 2017 to promote their new film Snatched (2017), and the 71-year-old opened up about what went down between her daughter Kate Hudson and her once-rumored beau Nick Jonas.

A viewer called into the show and asked Hawn, "I just wanted to know what your first reaction was when you heard Kate and Nick Jonas were dating."

"Oh! That's too funny," Hawn exclaimed, prompting Schumer to say, "Yeah, they go there on this show."

"You know what, let me tell you something," Hawn explained. "As long as the kids are having fun, I don't care."

She continued, "He's a very nice guy. He's a good person."

Host Andy Cohen then asked Hawn if she'd ever made Jonas dinner. To which, Hawn replied, "No, but I would have," taking a sip of her drink and adding, "If it lasted long enough."

Rumors spread that Hudson, 38, and Jonas, 24, had engaged in a fling after the two were spotted together at Disney World in September 2015. According to Us Weekly, Hudson's brother, Oliver—who worked on Scream Queens (2015-) with Jonas—introduced the pair.

Jonas previously spoke about his relationship with Hudson in a 2016 interview with Complex magazine. "Kate's incredible. We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that's beautiful," he said. "Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I'm not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She's amazing."

Unfortunately, as Hawn told Cohen, Hudson's romance with Jonas didn't last too long. According to reports, Hudson broke up with Jonas after he made the decision to go on tour with Demi Lovato. Today, Hudson is dating rocker Danny Fujikawa. The pair recently made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Snatched.

As far as we know, Jonas is single at the moment, although there are rumors that he's romantically linked to Quantico (2015-) star Priyanka Chopra.
