Marrying Millions Season 3 - Here's What We Can Tell Fans So Far
Do opposites really attract? Does love really conquer all? Producers of the reality television series "Marrying Millions" try to get to the bottom of these time-old questions as they film both the tremendous highs and devastating lows of six couples wherein one of the counterparts is ultra-wealthy and the other is... well... not.
Lifetime's "Marrying Millions" first burst onto the scene in 2019 and quickly climbed up the ranks in viewership. Per Deadline, the inaugural season finale garnered a whopping 433,000 viewers, essentially locking in a Season 2 for the series. "We're so excited to see 'Marrying Millions' break through and are expanding the franchise to super-serve women hungry for strong, provocative relationship content," EVP and Head of Lifetime Unscripted Gena McCarthy said about the show's success and their plans for the future.
But since Season 2 has wrapped, many fans of the show are left hungry for more — namely, if and when they can expect a Season 3, what the cast might look like, and any other scraps of info that can hold them over until their next "Marrying Millions" fix. Alas, some of the answers might surprise you.
When does Marrying Millions Season 3 drop?
Unfortunately, it appears the fate of "Marrying Millions" and a Season 3 for the series is still unknown.
As reported by Reality Titbit, Lifetime has yet to confirm a third season of the show — and viewers of the show are none too pleased, to put it mildly. "When is Marrying Millions coming back?" one user demanded to know in a tweet addressed to Lifetime TV. Meanwhile, another user gave the powers that be some unsolicited advice. "I'm gonna need marrying millions to come back. It's ridiculous how short the seasons are and how infrequent. They need to take a book from the 90 day franchise, always have a new season on deck," they penned in a frustrated tweet.
Alas, it appears some of the delay for a Season 3 might have something to do with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. A chicken wing shortage and now this? WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END?!
What will the cast of Marrying Millions Season 3 look like?
While we don't know when — or even if — a Season 3 of "Marrying Millions" is on the horizon, we can almost guarantee that if a Season 3 is in the works, the cast will most certainly feature a band of over-the-top, larger-than-life personalities — and perhaps a few hopeless romantics as well.
As you may recall, Season 1 featured 61-year-old Bill Hutchinson and his 21-year-old fiancee Brianna Ramirez. The story goes that the couple met at a restaurant Brianna was waitressing at and the rest is simply history. While some consider the age gap alone to be a bit bizarre, the couple is adamant that their love story isn't any different from any other couple's. "I'm not a stalker, it wasn't weird, I wasn't like a creeper going to that restaurant staring at this young girl," Bill maintained to Parade. "I really wanted to meet her. I was impressed with her. She was also beautiful to me, and I thought, 'This person must have a kind heart.' I did get to meet her, we started by becoming friends, we'd talk, we went out for coffee, and, eventually, that led to more dates and then it led to where we are today, so it's a beautiful story."
What will come of Bill Hutchinson and Brianna Ramirez?
The following information includes allegations of rape and sexual assault.
Since Season 1 of "Marrying Millions" wrapped, it hasn't been all rainbows and sunshine for Bill Hutchinson and Brianna Ramirez. As reported by the Los Angeles Times, Bill was charged with rape and sexual assault involving two 16-year-old girls in Orange County in July 2021. According to prosecutors, while on a vacation in California with the two minors, the real estate tycoon turned reality star raped one of them and sexually assaulted the other one a total of four times before returning back to the property and committing yet another act of sexual battery on one of the minors.
Unfortunately, that's not where this tragic story ends. Bill was also arrested in Texas for suspicion of sexual assault on a 17-year-old at his Texas residence and later charged with "inappropriate touching, including massages and groping," which is a second-degree felony in the Lone Star state. It should be noted, however, that Bill denied the charges. "Anyone who knows me in this city knows that I am not capable of assault, sexual or otherwise. Hopefully all of my colleagues and friends will give me the benefit of the doubt until I prove my innocence in court," he maintained in a statement.
Per the New York Post, on the heels of his legal troubles, Bill sold his luxury Miami vacation home for a whopping $10 million and listed his Laguna Beach residence and his Carmel, California home for $6.885 million and $9.5 million respectively.
