Here's What Kenya Moore Looks Like Without Makeup
Kenya Moore is known across reality TV as the "HTIC" —the "Head Twirler In Charge" — after her iconic confrontation with castmate Porsha Williams during Season 5 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Plus, her addictive phrase "I'm Gone with the Wind fabulous" became a staple in our everyday colloquialisms. It even impacted Beyoncé, who once said her Destiny's Child reunion at the Super Bowl Halftime was "fierce, honey. 'Gone with the Wind fabulous," per Bravo TV.
Gathering the girls by their necks isn't the only pastime Kenya has — she is also living her best life as a mom to her 2-year-old daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly. In February, Moore posted with her daughter on Instagram, captioning the beach picture, "My most important job in life #mother."
Kenya is always slaying our TV screens with her super shady reads — and our Instagram feed with her glamorous looks and her adorable mommy and daughter bonding moments — but when the cameras are off and all the glam is gone, we wonder, what does the real Kenya look like?
Kenya Moore bares it all (somewhat)
Kenya Moore looks as gorgeous in this makeup-free selfie as she did when she first won Miss USA in 1993.
In an interview with Hollywood Life, Kenya revealed her secret for staying so fresh and youthful throughout the years: Hydration! "To start with, obviously hydration — it's really important during this time to stay hydrated and healthy." Kenya mentions she drinks a large amount of water to keep her skin bouncy and to flush out harmful toxins. "So I think just keeping your skin hydrated, working out and trying to try to eat as healthy as you possibly can... but hydration, I would say, is number one."
But many plastic surgeons and dermatological medical professionals, like celebrity cosmetics injector and physician's assistant Heather Rohrer, are saying don't believe the hype — stars usually get some enhancements to make their skin appear so flawless. Rohrer speculated to The Blast that "at almost 50 years old, Kenya Moore is age-defying with a little help of cosmetic injectables."
Rohrer also analyzed what cosmetic up-keep Moore might have. "Botox appears to be her go-to. Her forehead and around her eyes are flawless, with no wrinkles. She also appears to have been refreshed and lifted with a hyaluronic filler such as Juvederm Voluma in the cheeks," Rohrer surmised. "Her smiles lines are less prominent too. Juvederm Vollure into her smile lines would give her that natural youthful appearance she is sporting at this moment."
Kenya Moore is reaching for all the stars in the sky (and on screen)
Not only is she a shady and sweet Georgia peach, Kenya Moore is now gliding across our screens as one of the 15 "Dancing With the Stars" contestants! Moore is partnered with dancing pro Brendan Armstrong, and has been dreaming about this opportunity for a really long time. On Instagram, she wrote, "This little brown girl from Detroit has come a long way! I can't believe nearly 30 seasons ago I watched @dancingabc and dreamed of being one of the dancers and now look at God! Let's go #Detroit! StandUPz."
That's not the only star in the sky Moore is reaching for, as she will also be on a new reality Peacock series, "Real Housewives All-Stars." The show is a brand-new spin-off of the "Real Housewives" franchise, and will follow multiple fan favorites while they're on vacation together at Turks and Caicos, per Screen Rant. The first season premieres in November and will include: Kenya, Teresa Guidice, Ramona Singer, Cynthia Bailey, and more, per E! News.
But don't worry! Per ET Online, this does not mean we are saying goodbye to Kenya Moore as a "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member — it just means she is booked and busy into 2022.
