What We Know About Daniel Craig's Daughter, Ella Loudon
When Daniel Craig showed up for the London premiere of his final James Bond film, "No Time To Die," on September 28, fans might have noticed that his wife Rachel Weisz was nowhere in sight. According to the Daily Mail, she's busy filming Amazon's "Dead Ringers" in New York. Instead, Daniel was accompanied by another beautiful woman, his daughter, Ella Loudon.
While Daniel has both a younger son and daughter with Weisz, he shares Ella with his ex-wife, Fiona Loudon. Daniel and Fiona had only been married for two years when they divorced in 1994, per the Daily Mail. However, before they split, they welcomed Ella into the world, and in the time since, he's remained relatively private about his eldest.
Now an adult herself, Ella not only stunned alongside her dad on the red carpet while celebrating his on-screen achievement, but it turns out that she has actually followed her father into show business. However, her career is quite different. Read on to find out more!
Ella Loudon is also an actor
Considering the fact that Ella Loudon's dad, Daniel Craig, clearly has what it takes to make it big in the entertainment industry, it's perhaps not all that surprising to find out that Ella is also an actor. However, unlike her father who is famous for his film roles, Ella seems to prefer sticking to the stage.
Growing up primarily in London, per the Daily Mail, Ella left home at 17 to attend a Massachusetts boarding school. She then moved on to NYU, but that didn't quite work out for her. Although she was studying acting, which is obviously in her gene pool, she has opened up about the fact that she was experiencing depression at the time. Leaving school after just a year, she didn't abandon her creative pursuits.
These days, Ella still lives in New York, although she also spends part of her time in Los Angeles, which are the perfect places to indulge her passions; art and acting. Along with being an artist, she has also taken on a few onscreen roles, per IMDb, but mostly performs in theater productions with respected groups like Shakespeare & Company, per her Instagram. Frankly, it's a good thing that Ella has done well career-wise because it turns out that her wealthy father doesn't intend to leave her very much.
Daniel Craig isn't leaving his daughter an inheritance
You might think that being the child of a successful star would guarantee that you'll always be living large. However, it turns out that celebrities like Mila Kunis and Anderson Cooper have other ideas in mind. While the former doesn't intend to leave a massive inheritance behind for her kids, the latter doesn't plan on leaving any money behind for his son. The same can be said for Daniel Craig when it comes to his children, including daughter Ella Loudon.
Because you're surely curious, Daniel is worth a whopping $160 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, meaning that he could certainly afford to leave behind a sizable chunk of cash for each of his three children. However, it looks like he has another thought when it comes to what to do with his money.
"Isn't there an old adage that if you die a rich person, you've failed?" Daniel asked in August while talking to Candis magazine (via The Guardian). He then added, "I don't want to leave great sums to the next generation." Instead, he wants to give it away. There's no doubt that he could do a lot of good with the kind of fortune that he has and we're sure that his kids will be just fine.
