When will 'Ready to Love' Season 4 be released?
Although the third season of "Ready to Love" ended a few months ago, OWN is wasting no time premiering the fourth season. According to a press release from OWN obtained by The Futon Critic, Season 4 of "Ready to Love" will premiere on October 15. The premiere will be a super-sized event with two back-to-back episodes, so fans should get ready to root for a new batch of contestants.
The new season of "Ready to Love," was filmed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, but fans shouldn't be too worried about the health of the hot singles. "The new batch of 'Ready to Love' hopefuls have been Covid-19 tested and cleared to quarantine together at a luxury mansion where opportunities for both the men and women to decide who stays and who goes abound as the tables turn weekly in the search for true love," a statement from producers read. Sounds good to us!
Who is in the cast of 'Ready to Love' Season 4?
Each new season of "Ready to Love" features a new cast composed of 20 singles: 10 men and 10 women. New people are sometimes added throughout the season to create drama, but regular eliminations keep the show on schedule. There are also double eliminations from time to time. The Futon Critic reports that the show's host, Thomas "Nephew Tommy" Miles, will be back for Season 4. The rest of the cast, though, features people in various professions.
According to Essence, the 10 single ladies who will be on the show are: Courtney, a business consultant; Alilah, a hair salon owner; Sabrina, a fashion designer; Kheri, who is in real estate and interior decor; Mumen, a background singer and stylist; Libba, a professor of marketing; Shiloh, a technical program analyst, Zadia, a fit personal trainer; Tisia a tech startup founder; and Kamille, a teacher. On the men's side, there are: Phil a marketing consultant; Tyrone, a cyber security professional; Lamont, who is also in cyber security; Frank, a cocktail brand owner; Nai'im, a program manager; Walter, an entrepreneur; Danta, a deputy superintendent; Cornelius, an electrical engineer; Corey, a fitness trainer; and Carrington, a nightlife marketing CEO.
As you might have noticed, some of the singles are in similar fields. Viewers will have to wait to find out if their common interests can spark a long lasting romance.
What city will 'Ready to Love' Season 4 take place in?
Throughout the past three seasons, "Ready to Love" filmed in different cities, including Atlanta, Georgia, and Houston, Texas. Season 4 will take the 20 singles to Washington, D.C., where they will hopefully fall in love, as well as explore hidden gems in the city during their dates, per The Futon Critic.
In the teaser trailer for the upcoming season, the singles could be seen getting down in pools and exploring each other's bodies. Considering that the singles start developing connections from the get-go, these intimate dates will surely be useful as couples start forming — before slowly being picked off one by one, that is. Couples who make it to the final three will have to decide if they want to pursue their relationships outside the show or breakup with each other. Fans of "Ready to Love" better get their popcorn ready to see if any singles find their happily ever after when the show returns to OWN on October 15.
