The Real Life Partners Of The Cast Of Drake & Josh

While Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh" ended back in 2007, it still remains a fan-favorite sitcom to this day. The show launched its titular stars, Drake Bell and Josh Peck, into fame, as well as its other cast members, which included "iCarly's" Miranda Cosgrove and "Community" alum Yvette Nicole Brown. Of course, with fame comes interest in an actor's personal life, especially regarding who they're dating!

At one point, fans even believed a Twitter rumor that Nancy Sullivan and Jonathan Goldstein, who played the blended family's mom and dad on "Drake & Josh," were actually married in real life. Despite making headlines, the speculation turned out to be unfounded. Not only did Goldstein post an Instagram snapshot in 2015 of himself running into Sullivan, proving that the two probably weren't married if they were excited about a run-in (via MTV News), but Peck himself put the rumored romance to rest in 2016, when he tweeted out, "This is 100% not true but a really cute idea."

Yet, they weren't the only "Drake & Josh" stars whose love life has caused a stir in the Twittersphere. Jerry Trainor (a.k.a. Crazy Steve) went viral in June 2021 for his online dating profile, after someone matched with him on Bumble and took a screenshot of it, leaving other fans excited about potentially having a shot with the star. While Trainer, Sullivan, and Goldstein appear to currently be single, these are the real-life partners of the rest of the "Drake & Josh" cast.

Drake Bell announced he secretly got married

2021 saw Drake Bell make headlines for a variety of reasons, ranging from the actor-musician pleading guilty to child endangerment charges to confirming that he secretly tied the knot with his long-rumored girlfriend, Janet Von Schmeling, and that he was a father. On June 29 of that year, Bell tweeted in Spanish, per a translation by the Daily Mail, "I have been married for almost 3 years, and we are blessed to be the parents of a wonderful son." The "Drake & Josh" alum made the announcement just a week after he was spotted at Disneyland pushing a stroller and wearing matching wedding bands with Von Schmeling, which led to speculation that the two had gotten hitched. "Thank you very much to all my fans around the world for your good wishes," he concluded the tweet.

Von Schmeling has been linked to Bell since 2014. Page Six reports that she works for the PR agency, Decibel Media Group, which lists Bell as one of their clients. Meanwhile, IMDb shows that Von Schmeling is also an actor and producer in her own right, and that she even worked with Bell in 2017 on the TV series, "Painting Autumn," where she went by the stage name of Janet Von.

Outside of confirming their marriage, it seems that Bell prefers to keep his family life private, as there appears to be no mention of Von Schmeling or their son on his Instagram. Yet, amid his legal troubles, it does appear as though Von Schmeling is remaining by Bell's side.

Josh Peck's wife once worked in the film industry

Josh Peck and wife Paige O'Brien share a young son named Max Milo Peck, who was born in late 2018 — but when O'Brien and the "Turner & Hooch" star got married a little over a year before in June 2017, their nuptials infamously made headlines. Peck's former "Drake & Josh" co-star, Drake Bell, took to Twitter to express his disappointment in not being invited to the wedding, writing (via Brides), "When you're not invited to the wedding the message is clear...True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I'll miss you brotha." Bell, of course, later back-peddled on his comments, and the two literally hugged it out on Instagram that August.

But for her part, O'Brien has famous ties of her own. Your Tango reports that her dad is Ken O'Brien, a former NFL Quarterback who played for the New York Jets and the Philadelphia Eagles. Meanwhile, Peck's wife has also worked behind the scenes in Hollywood as a cinematographer and film editor. According to IMDb, her film credits include "Black Wolf," "Let Go," and "Tell Me a Story." It's unclear if she still works in the industry, however, since her last credit was in 2013.

These days, O'Brien maintains a strong social media presence and frequently posts about her happy family life with Peck and son Max on her public Instagram account. She also regularly appears as herself on Peck's YouTube channel, where the actor shares videos of his life.

Miranda Cosgrove has been romantically linked to other celebs

At the time of this writing, Miranda Cosgrove (a.k.a. the instigating little sister, Megan, on "Drake & Josh") appears to be single. But while the actor-singer has been notoriously private about her relationships in the past, she's also been linked to several other young stars over the years. Back in 2007, Cosgrove was rumored to have been dating fellow Nickelodeon star James Maslow, according to J-14. While this was never confirmed, she reportedly moved on to another Nick kid, Natt Wolf, by 2008 (Cosgrove later told Tiger Beat that the two were "only friends").

However, in 2011, the same year she and Wolf supposedly split, Cosgrove opened up to Seventeen about a past relationship without naming names. "I've only had one serious boyfriend, but we dated for three years," she revealed (via People). "We broke up not that long ago. He's the one guy I really, really liked." Cosgrove even added, "People say they have that one person they never forget — I feel like that ... he'll be the one who got away."

While Cosgrove was later linked to Demi Lovato's future ex, Max Ehrich (though he revealed, per Elite Daily, that they were just "really good friends"), her last rumored celebrity boyfriend was "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" star Noah Centineo back in 2013. All in all, it seems that Cosgrove has only gotten better at keeping a low profile these days, but with the "iCarly" revival putting her back in the spotlight, perhaps we'll see more of her love life revealed.

Yvette Nicole Brown has a famous 'Twitter BF'

It's unclear if Yvette Nicole Brown — who played Josh Peck's movie theater boss in "Drake & Josh" — is officially single, as of this writing, but she did once open up to Oprah.com about the challenges of dating. "If you liked someone, you talked to him for a while. And you were talking and you got to know them before anything physical ever happened," she said. "And now, you know, we're in the generation where they are just sending body parts and slip it into DMs." Brown added, "The problem is most men aren't looking for a wife."

While Brown may not have a husband, she does have a pretty popular Twitter boyfriend. According to ET Canada, she's had an "online flirtation" with Marvel actor Chris Evans for years, and has even referred to him as her "Twitter BF." Brown also jokingly got involved after singer Lizzo admitted to drunkenly sliding into Evans' DMs, tweeting out, "Dear @ChrisEvans and @Lizzo, this is super cute and I'm gon' let y'all finish but first: Alexa play: 'The Boy is Mine' REAL loud at Lizzo's house." Brown, who was once rumored to be romantically linked to another actor and longtime pal, "Shazam" star Zachary Levi (pictured above), in the early 2010s, also quipped that she had Evans "locked down on @instagram, too," adding, "That's why he didn't respond to @Lizzo's DM! My Bae is FAITHFUL!"

The "Community" alum may still be single, but it appears Brown will always have Captain America's heart.
