Are Tarek El Moussa And Christina Haack Friendly Today?
Christina Haack and her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa have been through the wringer. Fans first met the pair in 2013 on their hit HGTV show "Flip or Flop," making them just one of many working couples on the network. We loved to see their banter on the show, but in 2016, things went south, and the couple separated. They went through a very public split, and by January 2017, Tarek pulled the plug on the relationship for good. The pair has co-parented their two children, Taylor and Brayden, and they've both moved on with other people.
In 2018, Christina wed Ant Anstead in an intimate ceremony, but the marriage was short-lived, and it also ended in splitsville. Like her divorce from Tarek, much of the couple's dirty laundry was aired out in public and the proceedings seemed messy. In turn, Tarek proposed to "Selling Sunset" star Heather Rae Young in 2020, and the two regularly rave about one another on social media.
Christina introduced Instagram to her boyfriend Joshua Hall in July, and things seemed to be great between the two. "I felt immediately crazy protective over him and wanted to keep him for myself and get to know each other before the tornado [media attention] hit," Christina wrote on Instagram. She went on to express her feelings for Hall and gush over their romantic vacation.
It's clear that Christina is on a great page with her new man, but how about with her ex? Keep scrolling for deets.
Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa are not on great terms
Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa seem to have a rocky relationship as of late. In July, the pair reportedly got into an explosive fight on the set of their show, "Flip or Flop," and Tarek allegedly called her "crazy." He also compared her to his fiancee Heather Rae Young and referred to her as a "washed-up loser." Ouch! Even though Tarek lost his cool with Christina, a source close to the situation shared that he was very upset about losing his temper with his ex-wife. "They did get into a disagreement. Tarek lashed out and he's super remorseful," the insider told People. "They're exes who share a history and children and a workplace, but outside of coparenting, they're not friends." Ugh, this breaks our hearts just a little bit.
Shortly after the fight, Christina shared a post on Instagram that called boyfriend Joshua Hall her "ride or die," and many wondered if that was a dig toward Tarek. "Some people are lucky enough to get forever the first time but no one should be shamed for things not working out and no one knows what goes on behind closed doors – remember that before making judgements and assumptions... and this woman / mama is still lucky enough to have this man choose me," she wrote.
Christina and Tarek have had a rocky road (and definitely not the ice cream type), but hopefully they can work things out and continue to co-parent for the sake of their kids.
