Inside American Pickers Star Mike Wolfe's Divorce
As one of the stars of "American Pickers," Mike Wolfe is famous for finding surprisingly valuable antiques and collectible items in attics, barns, and plenty of other arguably unexpected places. But when Mike isn't busy crawling through trash in order to find treasures with his co-stars – Frank Fritz and Danielle Colby – in the past, he might have been at home spending quality time with his family.
Back on September 7, 2012, Mike married Jodi Faeth in Franklin, Tenn., according to TMZ. Together, the couple shares a daughter, Charlie, while Jodi is also the mother of an adult child, per The Glow. Although Mike and Jodi also seemed to share an appreciation for his passion — with The Glow noting that "[w]alking into the sprawling Tennessee home [Jodi] shares with her husband ... is like traveling back in time" meaning that "there are vintage motorcycles in the living room and a classic 1960s VW van parked outside" — they also stuck together through the tough times. That included facing her diagnosis of stage 2 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
However, it now looks like Mike and Jodi are headed toward divorce and may have actually split up a while ago. Read on to find out what's really going on in this reality TV star's relationship.
Mike Wolfe and Jodi Faeth have been separated for longer than you may have thought
Although it doesn't seem like Mike Wolfe will be making a public announcement regarding the end of his marriage to Jodi Faeth, TMZ reported on July 8 that "she's quietly filed for divorce from the reality star." Indeed, after almost a decade of married life together, Jodi has apparently cited the seemingly common (as just as cryptic) "irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split," per TMZ
Beyond that, it appears as if the beginning of the end of the marriage happened back in June 2020, which is when court documents that were filed in Tennessee note that they initially separated. While The U.S. Sun also points out that "[t]here's no word yet as to a custody agreement," the documents show that the pair's daughter, Charlie, who is currently nine years old, has been living with Jodi, who is listed as Jodi Catherine Wolfe in the file.
While there's no word on whether or not the split has been amicable, let's hope Mike and Jodi are able to stay on friendly terms for their own sakes as well as for Charlie's.
What the court documents reveal about Mike and Jodi's split
Mike Wolfe and Jodi Faeth felt like their marriage simply could not go on. In court documents obtained by People from the Williamson County Chancery Court in Franklin, Tennessee, Jodi did provide some clarity as to what was happening. According to the documents, Jodi "would further show that all hopes of reconciliation are exhausted." Not only that but she and Mike were "unable to successfully live together" as a couple. Her request was that the court would make "an equitable division" of their debts and assets. But that wasn't all; the document also reveals that Jodi "has not participated in any other litigation concerning the custody" of their daughter, Charlie Faeth.
While the court documents are revealing, Mike has remained tight-lipped on social media about anything personal in terms of his split. His Instagram profile reads: "American Picker. Avid vintage motorcycle rider. Love junk. And my baby girl Charlie." So, even if the union between them hasn't worked out, Mike and Jodi are clearly both committed to being the best parents they can be.
Is Mike is dating again?
Mike Wolfe has apparently already jumped into a new relationship since splitting from his wife, Jodi Faeth. According to TMZ, Mike has begun dating model Leticia Cline. Both parties have reality TV in common. While Mike is comfortable in front of a camera thanks to "American Pickers," Leticia has actually been in the dating show "Beauty and the Geek." There isn't a ton of information about how the two met but the outlet states that they go back at least to April 2021, where they were spotted together in Norfolk, Virginia, per TMZ.
Leticia is an adventurer and sounds like a free spirit. According to her official website, she's a motorcycle racer and calls herself a "forever tourist" thanks to her love for travel. Leticia has actually turned these two passions into a career that involves national and international tourism on "two wheels," through collaboration with tourism boards. "I've learned the hard way that life truly is short so you can't waste a minute of it," she wrote on her website. "Life starts when you want it to." Sounds like she and Mike could go on some really exciting adventures together, especially since Mike is also a huge motorcycle enthusiast.
