Taylor Armstrong's Cameo On 'The Hills' You Probably Missed
Back in the early 2000s, MTV's hit show "The Hills" turned a group of Los Angeles 20-somethings into some of the biggest reality stars to date. The series developed as a spin-off of MTV's other success "Laguna Beach" and ran from 2006 to 2010. Despite ending after 6 seasons, in 2020, MTV decided to bring back the show for a reboot known as "The Hills: New Beginnings" because the show still had such a following.
Throughout its many seasons, fans tuned in to not only watch the drama unfold between cast members, (ahem, thanks "Speidi"), but also the chance to see some L.A. socialites make an appearance on the show, too. While some "Hills" celebrity cameos were bigger than others, such as Hilary Duff and Brandy, if you re-watch early episodes of "The Hills" today, you'll likely notice quite a few now-famous, stars pop up, one being "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Taylor Armstrong.
Wondering when this reality star appeared on the popular MTV show? We did some digging, and it turns out the Beverly Hills housewife made a brief cameo before she started hanging out with Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and the rest of the "RHOBH" ladies. Keep reading to learn more!
Taylor Armstrong pops up on Season 4 of 'The Hills'
Back before she was on Bravo's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Taylor Armstrong was another up-and-coming socialite who appeared on an early episode of "The Hills." In this YouTube clip, Taylor is seen on the show's fourth season with cast member Brody Jenner's mom, Linda Thompson. In the brief appearance, Taylor and Linda bump into another cast member, Stephanie Pratt, at a Los Angeles restaurant and quickly introduce themselves. While Taylor doesn't say too much, her blonde locks and big smile are hard to miss if you're a Bravoholic.
Two years following the cameo, Taylor landed her now-iconic role on the Beverly Hills franchise of "Real Housewives" and is now no longer known as Brody's mom's friend. Instead, she helped bring drama to her own show with her tragic marriage troubles, heavy-drinking nights, and plenty of tears. Taylor stayed on "RHOBH" for three seasons before moving away from the spotlight.
But, just because she's no longer a real housewife doesn't mean there's not a chance for her to make another appearance on "The Hills: New Beginnings." After all, she is still friends with Brody's mom.
