What Is Kaitlynn Carter's Net Worth?
Entertainment personality Kaitlynn Carter is perhaps best known for her brief (albeit not legal) marriage to reality star Brody Jenner and her role on MTV's "The Hills: New Beginnings," as well as her subsequent fling with pop star Miley Cyrus — a pairing that shocked everyone, including Brody. "The whole lesbian thing was gnarly because in our entire relationship, you never expressed that you had any interest in females whatsoever," Brody famously told his former partner on an episode of the famous MTV show, per Us Weekly.
As it turns out, however, there's much more than meets the eye when it comes to this reality star-turned-podcast host. For starters, it wasn't until after she met Brody that she reluctantly agreed to appear on television. "For the longest time I'd always say no. I've had a lot of people approach me about that, related to my blog and being in the L.A. social scene. I've taken a meeting but it's never felt right to me because I don't want to be involved in a show that's based on character drama," she dished to The Daily Front Row in 2015.
But since embarking into the world of reality television just how much is Kaitlynn worth? Keep reading after the jump to find out!
Kaitlynn Carter is more than just a reality TV star
As reported by Celebrity Net Worth, Kaitlynn Carter is worth a cool $1 million, and it appears she's amassed her wealth in a few different ways — not just from her time on "The Hills: New Beginnings."
According to Cosmopolitan, Kaitlyn first got her start as a blogger with a now defunct lifestyle website aptly titled, "Hey, Miss Carter." But it wasn't until she forayed into the online world of shopping with her business Foray Collective (see what we did there?) that her professional aspirations started trending upward. "Essentially it's the first curated fashion marketplace with a shop by influencer approach. When you're on our site, you can shop by your favorite blogger and see what they're wearing. It provides some built-in fashion guidance and inspiration for shoppers," she explained about the venture to The Daily Front Row. "We really hit the ground running—we had over 25,000 visitors in the first week and have had 40 million social impressions already," she gushed.
These days, however, Kaitlynn also boasts the title of podcast host on her very own podcast, "The Bright Side." According to Apple Podcasts, the show's mission is to provide "meaningful conversations about adjusting perspective and reframing negative situations to draw positive lessons from them." Just like the name of her podcast, Kaitlynn's future (and bank account) are looking pretty bright!
