With Usher set to host the show on May 27, there is no telling what will go down during the show's eighth annual performance. However, we do know that Elton John will be presented with the 2021 iHeartRadio Icon Award during a special tribute to his "global impact on pop culture," as iHeart Radio put it. The "Tiny Dancer" singer will be introduced by Chris Martin and Lil Nas X, while Demi Lovato, Brandi Carlile, and H.E.R. are scheduled to perform in his honor.
Asides from the highly anticipated tribute to the music legend, fans can't wait to see some of their favorite stars kill it on stage, including The Weeknd and special guest Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak (AKA Silk Sonic), Dan + Shay and Doja Cat. Ahead of the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, fans can tune in to the iHeartRadio Music Awards Live! Pre-show presented by Dr Pepper Zero Sugar. The red-carpet event will be hosted by Elvis Duran, plus the help of his co-hosts Amy Brown, Maxwell, and Emily Curl. You can watch the exclusive interviews and gawk at the fashion on iHeartRadio's Facebook and YouTube pages at 7 pm ET and 4 pm PT on May 27.
The main event will be going down live from The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles at 8:00-10:00 pm ET (PT tape-delayed) on FOX, plus fans can hear the iHeartRadio Music Awards on iHeartMedia radio stations and on the iHeartRadio app. With all of those options, there's no excuse but to tune in to the show!
