90 Day Fiance: The Truth About Tiffany Franco's Weight-Loss Journey
By now, reality television is as mainstream as Netflix, and each week millions of people tune in to see their favorite stars trudge through life in a myriad of situations. But none have come close to the love affair that fans have with the "90 Day Fiance" franchise and its plethora of spinoff shows. That love extends, of course, to keep track of stars from past seasons and the couples who fans have come to admire or hate in equal measure.
One such couple is made up of Tiffany Franco Smith from America and Ronald Smith, who currently resides in South Africa. They first appeared on the "90 Day Fiance: The Other Way" in 2019, according to The List. After meeting during a trip Tiffany took to South Africa, the couple quickly married in Ronald's home country. Soon after their wedding, Screen Rant reported that the reality star became pregnant with her and husband Ronald's daughter, Carley Rose, who arrived in July of 2019.
After having her daughter, Tiffany has been vocal about her weight-loss journey and desire to feel "full of energy."
Tiffany Franco Smith wants to go down the 'path to a better/happier life'
After Carley Rose was born, Tiffany Franco-Smith got real about the struggle new moms face when trying to lose weight in a fitness update reported on by In Touch Weekly in May 2020. The outlet noted that Tiffany had lost 24 pounds at that point, but had been "telling fans about her strides and hurdles along the way."
Soap Dirt also reported in November 2019 that she updated her Instagram Story to reveal that she was busy keeping herself healthy for her children. "Hello everyone [smiley] Today OFFICIALLY starts the path to a better/happier life. I have been overweight since my early childhood," Tiffany wrote at the time. "And being overweight isn't even the problem. The problem is unfortunate. I want to be healthy. I'm tired of anyone promoting an unhealthy unrealistic diet. I want to do this in a way that doesn't make me miserable."
In the same post, Tiffany continued, "I want to feel full of energy, full of life, and I want to know that I am doing the right things for ME and something that my children can be proud of." She added, "I'll always update you if you want to see my journey."
And as with all things, getting started is half the battle, but Tiffany seems determined to live her best life now and make it happen.
