Who Is Whitney Port's Husband, Tim Rosenman?
We've seen Whitney Port grow her brand from "The Hills" to "The City" and now, thanks to the MTV's "The Hills: New Beginnings" reboot, we get to see the powerhouse continue to kill it, but this time as a mother and wife. That's right, since we met the businesswoman Whitney has gone on to marry husband Tim Rosenman in 2015 and together, they welcomed their son, Sonny, in July 2015, per Us Weekly.
It's no surprise that the couple were united through reality TV. In fact, the two met when Tim was a producer on "The City," and although they grew "really close" while working together, they kept their relationship professional until cameras wrapped. While speaking with Simcoe.com in 2015, Whitney told the outlet her man wasn't willing "to cross that line" as a professional, so she took matters into her own hands. "I definitely made the first move. I got his phone number and made up some excuse why I needed to reach him for something," she said at the time. "I kind of felt he was never gonna try it with me. He's not shy but I know in his past with girls he had difficulty making the first move," she added.
With a marriage and one baby later, it sounds like her gutsy move paid off. Keep scrolling to learn more about Whitney's beloved.
Tim Rosenman is a family man before anything else
Before Tim Rosenman met Whitney Port while working as a producer on "The City," he made a name for himself in the business with his work on 2012's "The X Factor," per IMDb. Although it's unclear exactly what Tim's job title is today, according to Whitney's Instagram, it looks like he helps his wife out with her With Whit podcast and her COZeCO clothing line.
Aside from his business endeavors, Tim seems to be more focused on building his family since he and Whitney said "I do" in 2015. Ahead of the birth of their son, Sonny, in 2017, the couple purchased a $1.5 million home in the Los Angeles area, per Trulia, where they hope to continue to grow their family.
Although Whitney and Tim clearly love being parents to one, she told Us Weekly in December 2020 that she's ready for round two after experiencing a miscarriage in 2019. "I do want a second child. I really do," she told the outlet at the time. "I just want someone for Sonny to interact with. There's something I can't really explain. It just feels like there's someone missing, and I finally have kind of connected to that. And so, it's definitely something that we're thinking about and I'm more open to now." Although she later revealed she experienced another miscarriage in 2021, they seem to be staying in high hopes. It sounds like Tim is the partner Whitney always needed.
