Inside Matt Roloff's Relationship With Caryn Chandler
Matt Roloff of "Little People, Big World" found love not long after his separation from former wife Amy. Matt and girlfriend Caryn Chandler have been together for several years, and they have seemed practically inseparable. However, they apparently are not necessarily in a rush to make any significant changes to the status or dynamic of their relationship.
Throughout the early seasons of "LPBW," viewers watched as Matt and Amy struggled in their marriage. They split in June 2015, and In Touch Weekly detailed that they officially divorced in May 2016. After 27 years of marriage, Amy and Matt needed to navigate significant challenges in separating their lives. Not only did they share four children, but they were both heavily involved in Roloff Farms.
Not long after ending their marriage, both Amy and Matt found love again. As People noted, an episode of "LPBW" that aired in December 2016 featured Amy telling her daughter Molly about meeting Chris Marek. In September 2019, Amy and Chris got engaged.
Matt found love with his former farm manager
In March 2017, Matt Roloff went public with his romance with Caryn Chandler (per Instagram). Caryn had worked for Roloff Farms for years prior to this development. In fact, Amy Roloff suspected their romance started earlier than they'd admitted.
"Matt and our farm manager, who had been working for us a number of years by then, seemed to have more than just a working relationship or friendship. I saw messages, pictures, and other things that should not have been shared between people who just worked together and were still married to other people. I was devastated," Amy wrote in her book "A Little Me."
Before long, Caryn started joining Matt for Roloff family gatherings. Matt bought a home in Arizona, and the couple became virtually inseparable as they split their time between Oregon and Arizona. According to The Sun, Caryn and Matt had started "talking about marriage" a while ago, and an insider said that she wanted a "no expense spared" event.
In January, Matt shared via Instagram that Caryn had purchased a new home. Was that a sign of trouble in the pair's romance? Not necessarily. Matt also previously revealed tidbits about designing his dream home. In addition, The Sun noted that the new living space was being added to the Roloff farm. Caryn previously made it clear she would "never live in the big house" that Matt had shared with Amy, so it seems the "LPBW" couple is forging forward in their own way on their own terms.
