The Truth About The Bachelorette's John Hershey
We are getting majorly amped up for Katie Thurston's season of "The Bachelorette." It's going to be so good! In fact, on April 27, Us Weekly dropped the news that Katie wrapped up her season ahead of schedule. "Katie was in control and made sure the men she wanted were there and the men she wasn't interested in, she sent packing," a source told the outlet. We would expect nothing less of our girl.
Katie's season was filmed in New Mexico, according to the outlet, and she had a great group of guys that we'll get to know very soon. There's Christian Smith, there's cat dad Bao Wu, and Greg Grippo. Then there's a major surprise. It looks like Blake Moynes, from Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams' season, is coming back! While this is a fabulous lineup, there's one contestant we're dying to know more about: John Hershey. Here's the scoop.
Fans are getting Peter Weber vibes from John Hershey
John Hershey is from Santa Cruz, California, according to Reality TV World, and was 27 at the time of filming. His Instagram account is public as of this writing and we know one thing for sure: he loves dogs. And we love dog people. John is clearly very active, as most of his photos on social media show him skydiving, surfing, swimming, hiking... you get the drift.
Reality Steve gave us a heads up about the men joining Katie Thurston's season in March 2021 and posted on Twitter about John. In the post, Reality Steve mentioned that John is training to become a pilot. Naturally, fans got major Peter Weber vibes, who was the notorious lead of "The Bachelor" in 2020 and was, famously, a pilot.
"No. More. Pilots.," one fan tweeted on the post about John. "Pilots don't have a great track record on this show," another person added. Only time will tell how John fares on Katie's season, but we can't wait to see what happens! And hey, we're willing to give him a chance!
