The Truth About Chrishell Stause Vs. Christine Quinn's Fight On Selling Sunset
Reality TV fans and Netflix bingers love tuning into the escapades on "Selling Sunset" where we see the elite real estate agents at The Oppenheim Group sell luxe properties to their buyers, often with a heavy dose of drama mixed in. Christine Quinn might be known as the show's villain, but she always speaks her mind.
And then we have Chrishell Stause, nearly the opposite of Christine. The 39-year-old's bubbly personality is a stark contrast to Christine's cutthroat attitude, but they seem to find their groove when they're not battling it out over clients.
Season four promises no shortage of drama, and Christine told People in March 2021 that they "will start filming very shortly." She's excited to let fans back into her world, telling House Beautiful, "I'm excited to kind of capture some of the things I'm working on." As for filming with Christine, Chrishell wants to "keep it cordial," per the outlet.
How did their relationship turn sour over three seasons? Keep reading for more details.
Chrishell and Christine are not going to be friends
Chrishell Stause and Christine Quinn have a rocky history, and even though they co-star on "Selling Sunset," they will definitely not be hanging out anytime soon. According to Elle, Christine was determined to rock the boat as soon as she learned Chrishell would be joining The Oppenheim Group. Everything came to a head during Chrishell's divorce proceedings from Justin Hartley. Christine discussed the split with Davina Potratz, and they had doubts if Chrishell — who was unaware of these conversations — was actually blindsided by the divorce.
At Christine's wedding, viewers saw Chrishell make a dramatic exit after Davina said she wanted to hear "both sides of the story" in regards to the split at the reception. Chrishell later blocked Christine from her social media before the season three premiere in August 2020, and Christine added even more fuel to the fire with her July 2020 Page Six interview. "We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while," Christine said of Chrishell and Justin's failed marriage. "We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them."
Going to the press was apparently a step too far for them to ever be friends. Fast forward to March 2021, and Chrishell still has Christine blocked, per People. She "wishes her well" on her pregnancy, but wants to "keep it professional." Chrishell was diplomatic: "But like I said, no ill will — I truly am happy for her, and I wish her nothing but the best."
