Documentary To Detail Brangelina's Marriage And Split
Brangelina may be coming back to your screens, but don't get your hopes up for a reunion. Celebrity biographer Ian Halperin reportedly plans to release a documentary about the legendary and now-estranged couple.
"This is the definitive film about Brangelina and a lot of secrets are going to come out," a source told The Sun. "Ian has covered every cough and spit of their relationship and will reveal the real reasons behind Angelina filing for divorce. The biggest shock will be his claim that the couple were apart for more than a year prior to their breakup. He and his team have also managed to acquire some never-before-seen footage and interviews with both Brad and Angelina." The film will reportedly be titled Broken: The Untold Story of Brangelina. The source added, "Lately the pair have been trying to put on a united front and keep their divorce discussions quiet. This is the last thing they need."
In 2009, Halperin published a book that predicted that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would divorce within seven years, so either he's utilizing a crystal ball or he has some really great inside information.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from Pitt, 53, in September 2016, with the catalyst allegedly being an in-flight altercation involving the couple's oldest son. Since then, the pair has waged a bitter public battle over custody of their children (Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8). Pitt was cleared of any wrongdoing by both the Department of Children's Services and the FBI.
In January 2017, the estranged couple released a joint statement about the divorce and custody case. "The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues," the statement said. "The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification."
