The Truth About The Bachelorette's Greg Grippo
Katie Thurston's Bachelorette season is almost here, and there will be dozens of guys vying for her heart. One of the men is Greg Grippo, one of three New Jersey natives appearing on the next season of the reality dating show. And Greg has already caught fans' attention for at least one reason: He was originally cast on Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette, per Reality Steve.
From being a college basketball star to possibly making an early connection with Katie, there are a few details fans should know about Greg. Sadly, there's not a ton of info out there — his LinkedIn page doesn't list any of the jobs he's held, and his Instagram account is set to private. But fans are already digging through whatever information they can, and it looks like the 27-year-old could be an early frontrunner for the upcoming season.
Here's what we know about Greg so far.
Greg Grippo was the captain of his college basketball team
Greg Grippo graduated from Saint Michael's College in Vermont in 2016, per his LinkedIn page, and he studied business administration and management. There's not a lot of info on his social media profiles, but the Saint Michael's College Athletics website offers some more clues. It turns out that during his senior year of college, Greg was the captain of the basketball team at the Division II school. He played for the team all four years of college, as well as in high school.
The athletics website also reveals a few key details about Greg's personal life: He has a brother and a sister, who are both athletes, too. If Greg makes it to the hometown dates portion of the dating series, fans can expect to see Katie meet these two siblings, along with Greg's parents.
Greg reportedly made a big impression on Katie Thurston, too — potential spoiler alert for The Bachelorette! If Reality Steve is to be believed, Greg won Katie's first impression rose. A good number of fans responded to the blogger's tweet saying that Greg "looks nice," and it seems Katie thought so, too. Could this basketball star walk away with Katie's final rose? Only time will tell, but he's definitely one to watch.
