Katie Thurston's Bachelorette season is already off to a promising start, thanks to the swoon-worthy 34 contestants. Season 17 has begun filming as of April 2021 in New Mexico, and Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe are co-hosting in lieu of Chris Harrison who is currently on leave from the ABC franchise.
While fans are snooping for clues as to whom Katie might mesh with the most, contender Conor Costello may be her perfect match. Per Bachelor Nation guru Reality Steve, Conor is an Oklahoma native who relocated to Newport Beach, Calif. The handsome fellow also has an impressive resume that no doubt will win some favor with athletic Katie, who showed off her boxing skills on a group date with former Bachelor Matt James (via Heavy).

Conor Costello was a minor league baseball player
Conor Costello has already hit a home run, whether or not he wins Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette. The 6'3" star athlete played baseball at Oklahoma State University as part of the Big 12 and graduated with a degree in business management. Per Conor's LinkedIn page, he went on to become a professional Los Angeles Dodgers MiLB pitcher for the 2016-2017 season.
Now, Conor works as an account manager for Apex Systems in Orange County, Calif. According to the company's website, Apex Systems is an IT platform using project teams for "building enterprise-wide systems" like internal enterprise programs.
While Bachelor fans may be dismayed that Conor's Instagram is currently private, his bio does quote a bible verse "Coll 3:23." The passage from the Colossians reads, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters," as reported by Bible Gateway.
