Inside Crystal Kung Minkoff's Lavish Life
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills comes back in May 2021, but Bravo isn't holding back any of the drama in their preview video. Season 11 seems to be just as packed as ever, with legal drama, cat fights, and even some intense family situations, like Lisa Rinna's daughter Amelia beginning to date Scott Disick and Kyle Richards finding out her sister Kim changed her number (via E! Online). While that drama may be old news for those who are familiar with usual RHOBH faces, the newbies aren't holding back either. The trailer shows brand-new housewife Crystal Kung Minkoff getting heated with newly promoted full-time Housewife Sutton Stracke. The two seem to be going at it over a conversation where Sutton said she "doesn't see color" and Crystal calling the former Southern belle "an inappropriate, awkward person," as reported by Entertainment Tonight.
It seems like Crystal will fit right in to the Housewives franchise. But just who is the newest addition to the show and how did she make her wealth? While the details are hard to come by, it looks like Crystal will have no problem keeping up with the other Housewives, as her Instagram is full of pics of her in designer clothes and on lavish vacations.
Crystal Kung Minkoff seems fairly well off
Crystal Kung Minkoff is an entrepreneur, the co-founder and owner of RealCoco, a coconut-based food company that mainly sells coconut water. While the exact worth of that company is unknown, it has made a distribution agreement to be sold in Costco stores in southern California, so it's not hard to believe that Crystal's made some fairly good money with that endeavor. She is also one of the few Housewives to still be married, and her husband brings some considerable wealth to the table as well.
Crystal has been married to director Rob Minkoff for 13 years, and they share two children together. Rob is best known perhaps for his work as the co-director of The Lion King, which made over $1.8 billion worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. While Rob understandably only got a cut of that profit, it's safe to say that he made a significant chunk of change by co-directing just that one movie. He also directed The Haunted Mansion, Stuart Little, Stuart Little 2, and Mr. Peabody & Sherman (via IMDb), all successful films that probably netted him a large paycheck. Rob and Crystal have attended the Academy Awards together and even traveled to China in 2019, as Rob was the President of the Jury for the 9th Annual Beijing Film Festival.
A scroll through Crystal's Instagram shows that she's also friends with some famous people, like Kathy Hilton (who will star alongside her in RHOBH as a friend this year) and musician Robbie Williams and his wife, Ayda.
