The Truth About Jason Derulo's Girlfriend Jena Frumes
Jason Derulo and girlfriend Jena Frumes have a big announcement to share with fans.
According to Capital FM, Frumes is from New Jersey and first gained a following as a fitness model on social media. With more than four million followers on Instagram, it's fair to say that the actor and model is a bonafide influencer — and she has made quite a few fans over on TikTok, as well, by collaborating with Derulo on his account.
The "Savage Love" singer is not the first celebrity she has dated, either. Frumes was previously in a relationship with professional soccer player Jesse Lingard, who plays for the English team Manchester United. The pair broke up in March 2018.
Derulo and Frumes met at an Equinox gym just before COVID-19 sent the world into lockdown, as he told Page Six in August 2020. "We both have a similar desire to work out all the time, and I had seen her once there before, and then the second time, I was like, 'Aight. Imma go talk to her,' and the rest is history," he revealed. Now, these two are taking their relationship to the next level.

During his August 2020 with Page Six, Jason Derulo also first hinted at his plans to be a father. After a question about his niece Skylar, the singer admitted that he might have "baby fever," saying, "You know, I think I'm getting to that age, you know what I'm saying? So, I don't know."
Now the Cats star has confirmed that he and Jena Frumes are, in fact, expecting their first baby together. Derulo shared the news with an Instagram video accompanied by Robin Thicke's song "Lost Without U," which shows the couple strolling around a resort in the Bahamas. The clip ends with the words "Coming Soon" written in the sand. "Couldn't be more excited for this new chapter in our life @jenafrumes," Derulo wrote. Fans and friends were quick to congratulate them on their good news. "That is going to be one gorgeous baby," one follower commented.
Frumes also showed off her bump in an Instagram post of Derulo and herself at the beach, with the simple caption, "Mom & Dad." Congrats to the parents-to-be!
