Brandi Glanville Reveals What Really Happened To Her Face
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville is speaking out after being criticized for looking unrecognizable during an appearance on Australia's The Morning Show. Critics were quick to blame her noticeably different facial appearance on plastic surgery gone wrong, but that wasn't the case. Brandi has been open about getting work done in the past. She said in 2015 (via Daily Mail), "I've definitely over-filled and I've definitely had some bad Botox where your eyes drop but, y'know, there's no shame in my game."
However, this time the Celebrity Big Brother contestant says that the change in her appearance was actually due to second-degree burns she sustained late last year from a psoriasis light. Brandi took to Twitter to explain the accident and even posted a photo of the burns after she was "attacked" for her new look. "So this happened to me in December 2nd degree burns all over my face from an accident with a psoriasis light," she tweeted. She also called out a particular news outlet: "I am still healing & really didn't want to share these photos but since @DailyMail is attacking my looks her is the 411."
Sadly, Brandi has been injured during a beauty procedure before. In a video posted in 2018, Brandi said (via Page Six), "I had laser hair removal on my upper lip about 2009... I got a third-degree burn, and my face on the right side doesn't move the way my face on the left side moves."
After the controversy, Brandi revealed even more details.
Brandi Glanville is tired of people attacking her looks
Bravo personality Brandi Glanville divulged how a mishap with a psoriasis light left her face looking unrecognizable. "It was an accident obviously my doctor told me to hold the light over my face for 17.3 what I thought were minutes but it was seconds," she tweeted. "completely my fault it was suppose to help the psoriasis that was overtaking my face from stress."
While Eddie Cibrian's ex appears to be on the mend, the incident seemed pretty serious. "My retinas were burned my eyelashes burned off I couldn't open my eyes three days the light was so painful," she tweeted. While her injuries were painful, Brandi says that it's her feelings that are still hurt. "I'm OK but you know it happened in December I'm still swollen and having people attack my looks just makes me feel like I never wanna leave my house and I just want to cry."
This isn't the first time that the Drinking & Tweeting author has had to defend her looks. After being accused of plastic surgery following a Watch What Happens Live appearance, Brandi tweeted (via Page Six), "I do look bad but I haven't done anything to my face. I was watching makeup tutorials and trying not to use so much blush." Regardless of the reason, it's never appropriate to criticize someone's face!
