Steve Harvey 'tried' not to like Michael B. Jordan
Steve Harvey got candid on the March 22, 2021, episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show when the daytime talk show host quizzed him on what he really thinks about Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey's relationship. As it turns out, Steve loves Jordan as much as the rest of the world.
"I have tried not to like him. I have tried to find something wrong with him that I could dig in and go — 'cause I done got rid of all of 'em. All of 'em. Some of them snuck in the back door on me and lasted a lot longer than I wanted it to," he joked, "But this guy, is such a good guy, man. He is one of the nicest guys. I've met his father. I've sat up with him, we've talked for hours. I just can't find nothing wrong with him." The star also admitted he's hoping Lori and Jordan go the distance, calling him "a really, really good guy" before joking, "I can't whoop him."
Steve previously spoke about Jordan's romantic Valentine's Day surprise for Lori, joking he's going to have to keep stepping it up. Steve called the actor a "nice guy" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! In February 2021 and teased, "good luck homie 'cause Valentine's come every year." He added, "I don't know if you know how this works or not, but I don't know how you gonna top that, but good luck partner."
