Leah Pruett shares Tony Stewart's world
Leah Pruett is the woman who won the heart of racing great Tony Stewart. Even though there is a 17-year age gap, the couple has a lot in common. Like her new fiance, Pruett is quite the petrol head herself. According to TMZ, she's a drag racer who's made her own mark on the track. She's an NHRA Top Fuel driver and boasts 11 wins to her name. The couple reportedly met in 2019 but only officially started dating in 2020. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, they apparently decided to quarantine together. Seemingly, like many new 2021 celeb couples, that's when their love blossomed.
Pruett also challenges her new fiancé to try new things. Autoweek wrote that for the first time in his motorsport career, Stewart tried his hand at drag racing. Frank Hawley of the Frank Hawley School of Drag Racing was impressed by Stewart's skill behind the wheel. "He's world-class at anything he's ever done, so it didn't surprise me that he had no problems," Hawley praised the semi-retired racer. "He was a great guy, easy to talk to, and very humble. What a neat guy."
Stewart and Pruett seem to be on the fast track to happiness with their shared love for speed, cars, and fierce competition. Congratulations to the happy couple!
